How to clean the roller bearing
How to clean the roller bearing
1. For roller bearings, if sealed with anti-rust oil, they can be cleaned with gasoline or kerosene.
2. For those plain bearings that use thick oil and anti-rust grease (such as industrial vaseline anti-rust), first use No. 10 engine oil or transformer oil to dissolve and clean (the oil temperature cannot exceed 100 ℃), immerse the roller bearing in oil, take out the anti-rust grease after dissolving, and then use gasoline or kerosene to clean.
3. For roller bearings that use vapor phase agents, antirust water and other water-soluble antirust materials for antirust, other soap cleaning agents, such as 664, Pingjia, 6503, 6501, can be used.
4. When cleaning with gasoline or kerosene, hold the inner ring of the plane bearing with one hand, and slowly turn the outer ring with the other hand until the oil stains on the roller body, raceway and bracket of the roller bearing are completely removed, and then clean the surface of the outer ring of the roller bearing. During cleaning, attention should also be paid to slow rotation, reciprocating shaking and not excessive rotation when starting, otherwise, the raceway and rolling body of the roller bearing are easily damaged by dirt. When the cleaning volume of plane bearing is large, in order to save gasoline and kerosene and ensure the cleaning quality, it can be carried out in two steps: coarse and fine cleaning.
5. For roller bearings that are inconvenient to disassemble, they can be cleaned with hot tears. That is to use hot oil with a temperature of 90 ° - 100 ℃ to dissolve the old oil, use a hook or spoon to dig out the old oil in the plane bearing, then use kerosene to wash the residual old oil and engine oil in the plane bearing, and then use gasoline to wash it again.
